Urban Dance teaches children and young adults authentic Hip Hop dance

We teach over 400 students through our studio and community classes, schools programmes and training workshops

We teach for individual enjoyment through to national and international competition

We have our own Urban Dance Company of 40 talented and driven individuals

Hip Hop dance emphasises individual and group performance

Leadership, organisation, teamwork and participation are essential to success

Self worth, friendships and communication skills are achieved

Urban Dance promotes physical health and wellbeing alongside building fitness and strength

Our dancers come from all over the Tauranga Moana region and beyond
